Description:
Drawing on nearly 40 years of experience implementing domestic violence programs, this this course provides participants with a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding about domestic violence, including:
- Domestic violence prevalence, definitions, theoretical and historical frameworks
- Power and control tactics, and the impact on victims
- Community and institutional responses to domestic violence
Training is led by Rose Brooks Center Staff, Kayla Ross, Advocacy and Education Manager
